As it has usually been done, we begin the new year with a look on the previous year’s major achievements: new versions of the system’s roll-out, having Romania as the Pilot Country: NMVS Core 2.0 & Reporting Tool 2.0 and NMVS Core 3.0 & Reporting Tool 3.0, two published Guidelines: Guide for Pharmacies and Guide for Wholesalers with the existing Transactions within the National Medicines Verification System.
Furthermore, we would like to share with you the yearly graphic illustrating the 2023 activity in the NMVS, meaning the total number of transactions performed by the End-Users and the alerts that have been generated in the system.
It is visible that the hard work which focused on alert reduction has paid off. Moreover, in 2023 the percentage of alerts generated by the Romanian End-Users was the lowest registered so far, the last 3 months of the year showing a consecutive 0,02% percentage rate.
In 2024 the OSMR team will continue to be a constant presence in the European Working Groups, placing its effort and commitment to maintaining a robust European Medicines Verification System.
