According to the European Medicines Verification System national implementation project Steering Committee decision taken on November 15th, OSMR announces the extension of the tests scheduled within the PILOT phase until January 15th, 2019.
The OSMR test coordination team will align between the MAHs who have already transferred the complete data to the NMVS PROD environment and the End Users who own operational End User Locations in the NMVS PROD environment so that the testing scenarios set by Working Group 5 – PILOT can be run, using real serialised medicines’ packs and operations in the NMVS PROD environment.
OSMR points out that the NMVS PROD environment already contains complete data on approximately 500 medicines, with over 1,5 million serialized packs destined for the national market, which belong to approx. 50 MAH, and a number of over 1400 End User organizations are in the process of registering for access to the NMVS, out of which 33 are in the are in the phase of defining the End User Locations, 10 being in the IQE environment testing phase and one – Europharm Holding SA, having completed the process and undertaking the first successful scan in the NMVS PROD environment on November 5th (https://osmr.ro/prima-cutie-de-medicamente-scanata/?lang=en)
