On September 26th,2024, OSMR organized the first in-person meeting with the software providers with whom it managed to grow, over the course of 5 years, an online collaborative community.
This gathering marked a significant step forward in fostering a strong partnership and increased transparency within the above-mentioned community.
The event brought together key stakeholders, such as representatives from the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices – Ms. Felicia Costinescu – General Manager, General Directorate of Pharmaceutical Inspection, Mr. Andrei Grigore, Manager – General Directorate of Pharmaceutical Inspection, Falsified Medicines Alerts Office, from the Economic Crime Investigation Directorate – Police chief commissioner – Mr. Răzvan Marinică and Police senior inspector – Mr. Cristian Șerlău, OSMR President – Mr. Dan Zaharescu, OSMR General Manager – Mr. Laurentiu Mihai, Arvato representative – Mr. Alexandru Chetrusca and a very special guest – Mr. Peter Berger-Piascek, Operations Management, Austrian NMVO.

Mr. Adrian Pasarin, OSMR IT Consultant, shared an overview of both the alerts’ flow in the NMVS, as well as the alert management process within our organization. He also highlighted the role of the local applications in the alerts’ investigative process.
