The new version of the National Medicines Verification System (NMVS) – Core 9.0, together with the accompanying Reporting Tool 9.00 application, was deployed to the production environment on 22nd of September 2026.

This version brings a series of improvements aimed at increasing system stability, simplifying user management, and optimizing report generation.

The main changes include:

General NMVS CORE Improvements:

  • Correction of defects identified and reported in previous versions, contributing to increased system stability and reliability;
  • Introduction of the new SUSPENDED and DEACTIVATED statuses, enabling more precise management of user status;
  • Updated information display in the User History and Admin Activity User sections, providing clearer visibility and easier tracking of actions performed;
  • Self-service password reset, including for users with LOCKED status, simplifying the access recovery process.

Reporting Tool Improvements:

  • Migration of certain reports to an asynchronous generation mechanism, optimizing processing time and improving the user experience;
  • Introduction of additional validations for certain reports, contributing to improved data accuracy and preventing incorrect requests.

Through these updates, the NMVS continues its process of improvement and optimization, towards a safer, more stable, and more efficient system.
